Our Leadership
Keith Huntoon
President & Co-Founder
Keith Huntoon has over 25 years of marketing, management, and business development expertise. After graduating with a BS in Marketing and Management from the University of Vermont, Keith spent the first three years of his career in marketing and business development for a tech startup in Asia. After returning to the States, Keith was the Director of Business Development for a privately held software development and network infrastructure company in New York City. In 2001, Keith joined Blue Hill Data Services as VP of Marketing and Business Development and in 2005, he co-founded and continues to serve as President of LiftEngine.
Scott Markowitz
Executive Vice President & Co-Founder
Scott brings more than 30 years of database and direct marketing experience to LiftEngine. After obtaining a degree in computer science from Queens College C.U.N.Y., Scott worked at Marsh McLennan, NYNEX (now Verizon), and then was a consultant with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). Scott later helped form Integrated Data Services (later re-named to Blue Hill Data Services), a marketing and infrastructure management company focused on providing management services for direct marketing companies. After selling Blue Hill Data Services, Scott cofounded LiftEngine, where he continues to meld his database and marketing experience with A.I. and information processing technologies to bring new and innovative solutions to fruition.
Gary Cacace
Chief Technology Officer
Gary has worked in Information Technology for over 35 years, with 20+ years of Direct Marketing experience. He spent 15 years following his passion as a Software Developer and Architect before expanding his knowledge to include Networking and Information Security. Gary has worked at major Fortune 50 international organizations, traveling globally to build consensus amongst disparate large-scale teams. He was also one of the original hires at a direct marketing startup that he helped build into a PCI Level 1 compliant organization with over 450 employees and $300MM in annual revenue. Gary joined LiftEngine in 2010 and has been instrumental in directing Development, Networking, Infrastructure, and Information Security. He’s applied his vast experience to help grow, streamline, and automate the business.
Marcy Patierno
Vice President, Client Relations
Marcy has been in Direct Marketing for 30 years, bringing extensive knowledge in data analytics, data hygiene, merge/purge, and database marketing to the LiftEngine team. After obtaining a B.S. in Computer Science from Iona College, Marcy entered the data and direct marketing industry, working at True North, Inc. and List Maintenance Corp. Marcy joined LiftEngine in 2005, shortly after Scott and Keith founded the company. As VP of Client Services, it is her priority to partner with LiftEngine clients to understand their needs and goals to provide the most efficient and valuable service for their mailing and marketing needs. In her spare time she walks dogs at the local shelter with her daughters and enjoys time with her family.

LiftEngine routinely goes through comprehensive security checks by independent entities to ensure that our systems and processes all meet the highest standards. Accordingly, LiftEngine has passed various SOC 2 audits with flying colors.
